Deborah is a qualified physiotherapist who graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant as she was finishing her degree to gain further face to face patient experience. In this role she has worked with DVA, Medicare, Workcover, and Aged care clients with a variety of injuries and conditions to reduce their pain and encourage and assist them to accomplish their goals. Deborah is also a certified Pilates instructor.
During her degree she worked and learned from experienced Physiotherapists in rural hospitals, Sydney acute care wards, Indigenous Medical centres, and community physiotherapy organisations across eastern Australia. Gaining a wealth of varied experience. Leading many exercise classes across the Sunshine Coast, she has helped many members of the community find enjoyment in exercise, fitness and injury recovery. She has created and lead many different classes ranging from seated classes, hydrotherapy, boxing and more so that everyone can find a type of exercise that they enjoy and feel confident with.
Deborah enjoys Netball, circus, and various sports on her time off and has first-hand experience of sporting injuries which she uses to help others through their return to sport.
Deborah is passionate and determined in her mission to help as many people as she can discover that they are able to accomplish more than they realise. With physiotherapy, they can live each day with less pain and greater ease than they believed was possible.
Therese Olijnyk is a highly motivated physiotherapist who graduated from Bond University with a Doctor of Physiotherapy. Originally from Canada, she also holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Regina.
Therese’s approach to physiotherapy is rooted in evidence-based practice. She combines the latest research with a patient-centered philosophy to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals. She is passionate about building meaningful connections with her patients, ensuring they feel supported and empowered throughout their recovery.
Outside the clinic, Therese enjoys an active lifestyle. In her free time, she likes going to the gym, spending beach days with friends, hiking, traveling, and exploring new places. Her passion for staying active and discovering the world gives her a personal appreciation for the importance of physical health, which she brings to her practice every day.
